The world No 11 Thai pair of Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai were in giant-killing form again, as they stunned third-seeded Kim So Yeong and Kong Hee Yong of South Korea to claim the women’s doubles title at the Yonex Chinese Taipei Open in Taipei on Sunday.

Seventh-seeded Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai remained the Thai lone hope in the Badminton World Championships as 2013 winner Ratchanok Intanon bowed out in the third round in Nanjing on Thursday.
